This v5.2 beta adds additional sensor support and new reports. Additional sensors supported are the UV, solar radiation, extra temperatures, extra humiditys, leaf wetness and soil moisture sensors as well as the ET value. New reports added are Daylight Hours, Leaf Wetness Hours, Total ET, Fuel Demand and Sunburn Risk. This WeatherLink beta requires purchase of a Vantage Pro or Vantage Pro Plus weather station, purchase of a WeatherLink 5.x for Vantage Pro, a PC running Windows 95/98/NT/2000/ME/XP and a serial port to connect to the weather station. WeatherLink 5.1 Upgrade
This upgrade resolves several problems and adds several new features, including the following Internet features: HTML template files, NOAA reports, Archived Data reports, Current images, and Historical graphs. Inside dew point and heat index values are calculated for HTML uploads. Sample templates are included along with an improved Davis Ticker Java applet. The National Weather Service's new wind chill formula is used for all data downloaded after the software is installed. This WeatherLink upgrade requires purchase of a Vantage Pro or Vantage Pro Plus weather station, purchase of a WeatherLink 5.0 for Vantage Pro, a PC running Windows 95/98/NT/2000 or ME, and a serial port to connect to the weather station. In order to use the Internet features, you must have an Internet connection.

Davis Ticker Java Applet Update and On-Line Configuration Wizard

WeatherLink Excel API
WeatherLink for Excel API 1.1
The WeatherLink Excel API allows you to manage, analyze, and model Davis weather station data within the familiar user and development environment of Microsoft Excel. With the API, you can hook up a weather station, download its data (automatically or manually), and store the data in an Excel worksheet for viewing and/or analysis. The API serves as a tool with which you can build your own applications using Excel's extensive macro capabilities, Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) facilities, or simply exporting the database into another, non-Excel application. As a working example, the API includes a degree-day model that performs automatic calculations on sample archival data. Requirements: WeatherLink data logger attached to a serial port (USB is not supported); Davis weather station (Perception, Weather Wizard, Weather Monitor, or GroWeather); Microsoft Excel 97.

WeatherLink Serial Communications Reference 3.3
Allows programmers to create their own applications using our weather instruments and WeatherLink data logger. Describes the communications protocol between the WeatherLink and computer. Binaries and sample source code written in C+ and Visual Basic is included. This reference is designed for users who are not operating under a 32-bit platform and are unable to utilize the DLL (Dynamic Link Libraries) described above.

Fixed Copy (would not do multiple days) and Export (sometimes would not do multiple months or years) commands. Fixed handling of Year/Month/Day modes for dates.
