The works carried out by Darrera involved the implementation of a 3G communication system in the 3 weather stations of the N-230, located at the height of the municipalities of Pont de Suert, Aneto and Boss\u00f2st, as well as the installation of high-performance solar panels for a fully autonomous operation. The weather network has also been expanded with the installation of a new weather station equipped with a visibility sensor and located in the north side of the Vielha tunnel.<\/p>\n
All the weather information provided by the 4 stations is remotely monitored 24\/7 from the control center of Road Conservation. The real-time weather data allows surveillance personnel to issue warnings in the event of adverse weather conditions and take appropriate preventive measures to ensure the safety of drivers.
