The observation network of the local meteorological service, currently formed by 10 stations, will be expanded soon with 3 new stations installed in the municipalities of Matar\u00f3, Sant Vicen\u00e7 de Montalt and Vilassar de Mar.<\/p>\n
The new stations are equipped with sensors for measuring wind speed and direction, temperature, humidity, precipitation, atmospheric pressure and solar and UV radiation. The stations also feature a system for automated and real-time weather data sending to the Internet, which allows for remote monitoring and management.
