Visitors, customers and port operators can now check the current weather conditions in real time and the local weather forecast for the present day and the next 6 days through the Weathercloud online platform.<\/h3>\n

Darrera’s specific weather stations for marinas and yacht and sailing clubs are equipped with precision sensors for measuring wind speed and direction, temperature, humidity, precipitation, atmospheric pressure and solar radiation. The anemometer can be installed along with the other station sensors or separately at the mouth of the port. The entire system is powered by solar energy for fully autonomous operation.<\/p>\n

The data is sent over 4G to the Weathercloud online platform for real-time monitoring from a computer, tablet or smartphone. Weathercloud offers a data dashboard that can be easily integrated into the port’s website, as well as displayed locally on a monitor or TV screen. Port operators can make use of the platform to generate daily, monthly and annual weather reports, configure alerts for adverse weather conditions, create custom plots and even export the data for use in other applications.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
