The sensor discriminates between the following road conditions: dry, moist, wet, extremely wet and slippery.<\/p>\n<p>The sensor is specially designed to help improve the planning and quality control of all kind of winter maintenance tasks on roads, mountain passes, ski resorts, airports, etc. in order to ensure maximum safety.<\/p>\n<h3>Digital communication<\/h3>\n<p>It can be connected to any conventional datalogger to perform the data storage and its subsequent downloading and monitoring on a computer.
