The Mark 25 sextant is one of the most popular on the market thanks to its excellent quality\/price ratio. Features an 18 cm frame radius graduated from -5\u00ba to 120\u00ba, 7 sunshades, 2 easily adjustable mirrors, glass lenses with anti-reflective coating and an additional telescope for glare-free observations. It also includes a high precision micrometer drum and a vernier that allows reading up to 2\/10 of a minute of arc. Its LED lighting system illuminates the arc and drum with a soft light. Unlike traditional sextants, Mark 25 uses a single semitransparent mirror where the real and the reflected images are superimposed and full-sized, instead of a split image.<\/p>\n
