Darrera installs and commissions an AWS weather system in the headquarters of Encasur-Endesa in Puertollano (Ciudad Real), to monitor the water evaporation of a lake located in that area. The system is composed by different sensors such as wind speed, wind direction, air temperature, water temperature, humidity, solar radiation, barometric pressure and pluviometer.
The advanced datalogger of the AWS system allows carrying out statistical calculations with the data registered by the different sensors. This way it is possible to calculate the water evaporation parameters of the lake with a high level of precision and reliability.
The datalogger, the uninterrupted power supply system and the communications equipment are housed in a NEMA 4x weatherproof enclosure.
The data is sent via 3G transmission technology to the headquarters of Encasur-Endesa for its remote monitoring from a central computer.
