The new LoRaWAN anemometer allows remote and real-time monitoring of the wind conditions in La Devesa municipal sports area.
The system consists of a high-performance cup anemometer for measuring wind speed, a LoRaWAN node for outdoor use and a 3-meter-high tripod made of anodized aluminium to ensure maximum resistance to weathering. The wind data recorded by the sensor is sent in real time to the municipality’s LoRaWAN network for remote monitoring through The Things Stack online platform managed by the city council.
