Darrera entirely carried out the design and manufacture of the 3R WT01 Wind Tracker to further increase safety in the iconic Plane ride of the Tibidabo Amusement Park (Barcelona).
From now on park operators will be able to use this new equipment to accurately monitor wind conditions that affect Tibidabo’s Plane ride, one of the most characteristic attractions of the park and whose opening dates back to 1928.
The 3R WT01 Wind Tracker is connected to a 3R UAV01 Ultrasonic Anemometer and displays real-time current and maximum wind speed in m/s, kph, mph and knots, as well as wind direction on a LED compass and numerically. The device also allows to set up two alarms that activate when wind speed exceeds specific thresholds determined by the user.
