The instrument is specifically designed for rescue teams, civil protection and firefighters, and is supplied in a briefcase with different accessories for installation in emergency vehicles, tripods, cranes, drones, GoPro cameras, etc.
Skywatch® BL 1000 uses high-precision Swiss sensors to measure wind speed and direction, temperature, relative humidity and atmospheric pressure (QNH and QFE). Besides, it calculates different derived parameters, including windchill, dew point and heat index, and automatically records the GPS coordinates of the measurements.
The instrument connects via Bluetooth to the Skywatch Guard free mobile app, which allows to monitor the current conditions in real time, view evolution graphs, configure 2 alarm thresholds for wind speed (warning and danger) and send the measurements to the cloud.
