This new station enhances the club’s ability to provide accurate, real-time information about the weather conditions along the Ca’n Picafort coastline, which is crucial for optimizing the planning of nautical activities and ensuring the safety of its members.
Positioned on the building’s façade, the Vantage Pro2 Plus station operates on solar energy, ensuring full autonomy based on renewable energy. It features precision sensors that measure key parameters such as wind speed and direction, temperature, humidity, precipitation, atmospheric pressure, solar radiation, and UV radiation. Furthermore, the station calculates the dew point, wind chill temperature, heat index, sunshine hours, and evapotranspiration, providing a comprehensive overview of the weather conditions in Ca’n Picafort.
The WeatherLink Live communication system transmits data to the global Weathercloud network via Ethernet, enabling real-time monitoring from any device, whether a computer, tablet, or smartphone. This instant access to critical information greatly benefits both club staff and members, as they can now remotely consult data to enhance the planning of sailing and fishing activities while ensuring safety at sea.
With the addition of this new station, Ca’n Picafort Nautical Club strengthens its commitment to excellence and safety in nautical activities, providing its members with a valuable tool to enjoy the sea with confidence.
