Highly versatile
HOBO® Pendant® Event can be connected to any type of tipping bucket rain gauge to record the amount of rainfall and when the rain starts and stops. The datalogger also features an ambient temperature sensor.
The free HOBOware® software, available for Windows and Mac, allows downloading and viewing the recorded data, in addition to configuring all the instrument parameters, such as date, time and rain gauge resolution. The communication with the computer is done either through the BASE-U-1 or BASE-U-4 optic USB base stations, or using the U-DTW-1 shuttle (none included).
Compact and weatherproof design
The datalogger features a compact design and is entirely made of corrosion resistant materials to ensure high resistance to weathering. The included lithium battery guarantees a long life before having to be replaced.
