Darrera has designed, built and supplied a high performance weather station with ultrasonic anemometer to Abeinsa (Abengoa group), which will be installed in a power plant located near the Dead Sea.
The set supplied consists of a high performance ultrasonic anemometer fitted with temperature, humidity and atmospheric pressure sensors, and a stainless steel mast painted in white and aviation red bands to ensure its high visibility.
The equipment communicates directly with the control system of the plant, and allows real time monitoring and supervising of the weather conditions in the area, which is characterized by a high salinity level.
