Darrera installs and commissions 2 Vantage Pro2™ Plus stations in the Albet i Noya vineyards (Sant Pau d’Ordal, Barcelona) for weather monitoring and pest prevention.
Each set consists of a Vantage Pro2™ Plus weather station equipped with additional soil temperature, soil moisture and leaf wetness sensors.
The recorded data is sent to the Internet automatically and in real time using a Vantage Connect® system for its remote monitoring and downloading to a computer. The WeatherLink software with the additional integrated pest management module for grapes helps winemakers analyze the information and simplify the decision-making process.
