Darrera has designed, built and supplied a high performance wind station to the Government of Nepal.
The station consists of a heated HD52.3D ultrasonic anemometer that provides wind speed and direction data to a large capacity datalogger.
The system features GPRS connectivity for remote access to data from the control center. In addition, the set includes a large solar panel that keeps the whole system running even in low light conditions.
All electronic components are located in a weatherproof enclosure box with inner thermal lining to ensure maximum protection against the low temperatures of the area.
