Darrera supplies an ultrasonic anemometer to the Expiatory Church of La Sagrada Família (Barcelona)

Darrera configures and supplies a high performance ultrasonic anemometer to the Expiatory Church of La Sagrada Família (Barcelona), which will allow accurate monitoring of wind conditions at the top of the monumental building, in order to further increase the safety of workers and visitors.

La Sagrada Família is the unfinished masterpiece of Antoni Gaudí, as well as the greatest exponent of Catalan modernism. Its construction began in 1882 and is expected to be completed in 2026, coinciding with the first centenary of the death of the renowned architect. The construction work continues at the same time as millions of tourists from around the world visit the site, a fact that makes it necessary to maximize safety measures.

The equipment supplied consists of an ultrasonic anemometer fitted with an uninterruptible power supply system that ensures the availability of wind speed and direction data in the event of power outages. Data is accessible locally from the control center located at street level.
