The new station allows monitoring of weather conditions in this section of the N-230 road in order to increase safety of drivers.

Installed in accordance with the guidelines of AEMET and the WMO, the new station has official ENAC certification of wind speed, temperature and precipitation. Citizens can now check both the weather data in real time and the local forecast for the municipality on the Weathercloud online platform.

The Weathercloud monitoring solutions developed by Darrera aroused great interest from industry professionals and customers attending the 8th edition of the show.

The new weather stations will be used to issue early warnings against severe weather conditions. The data provided is already available online via the Weathercloud platform.

Through this new service, citizens can now monitor the data from the municipal weather station in real time, check the weather forecast and use different tools for creating custom reports and graphs, among other features.

The innovative weather monitoring systems introduced by Darrera aroused great interest during the seventh edition of the world’s largest event on new technologies applied to meteorology.

The real-time weather information provided by the 8 stations that currently make up the network will help optimize maintenance operations and increase safety in the Madrid metro, the 7th longest in the world with a total length of 293 km.
